Imagine being able to tap into the expertise of hundreds of wildlife professionals, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Wildlife Society Listserv (TWS-L) was designed to facilitate communication and distribution of information among Wildlife Society members. It is a listserv, or Internet discussion group, with over 1,000 subscribers. TWS-L is open to all TWS members.
Members from around the world can post questions, announcements, and discussion topics on the listserv ranging from current conservation issues, field or laboratory techniques, information resources, and wildlife policy decisions, to educational opportunities, internships, and temporary positions. (Please be advised that postings of full-time professional positions are not allowed and should instead be posted on TWS Wildlife Jobs Online.)
TWS Headquarters posts news from Washington, D.C., calls for action, and membership updates. All TWS-L subscribers may reply to the postings to stimulate an exchange of ideas and information. TWS members are encouraged to join the TWS-L network to contribute their expertise and perspectives.

Note: List subscribers should avoid attaching files to their postings. Unsolicited attachments slow down message downloading, fill up disk space and can potentially transfer viruses. Simply post an announcement with the information pasted into the message, and include your email address or website so interested people can get additional information. Thanks for not attaching files to list messages.
