replaces course #13036, "Inspection of Fracture Critical Bridge
Members." The curriculum material has been revised and upgraded
to reflect current practices and to address new and emerging technologies
available to bridge inspectors.
Pavement
Preservation: Selecting Pavements for Preventive Maintenance Treatments
(Course #131058) focuses on selecting the right pavement for preservation
treatments by evaluating the merits of each treatment under various
field conditions.
Design
of Mechanically Stabilized Earth Walls and Reinforced Soil Slopes
(Course #132042) provides state-of-the-practice design tools and construction
practices for continued implementation of mechanically stabilized
earth technology and for the routine use of cost-effective earth retention
structures.
