Our students may find themselves designing a campus recycling program, creating a watershed management plan for a lakeside community, or using computer models to predict the impacts of climate change.
The Nelson Institute is rich in educational opportunities.
We offer more than 100 courses in cooperation with UW-Madison's schools and colleges. For students with exceptional interest in the environment and those who seek careers in environmental professions, we provide more in-depth education through several degree and certificate programs and Ph.D. minors.
We also offer special internship, research, and international study experiences.
Many forms of financial assistance are available to our graduate students.
