Region 8 Superfund Fact Sheets and information about CERCLA sites in the six Region 8 states.

EPA Envirofacts Web site provides access to environmental information contained in its databases. Information on Air, Chemicals, Facility Information, Grants/Funding, Hazardous Waste, Spatial Data, Superfund, Toxic Releases, Water Permits and Drinking Water can be accessed.

The Region 8 Technical Library & Information Center has skilled librarians and researchers who can help you access a wide range of environmental information, including the Online Library System Network. The library has other electronic and on-site resources such as CD-ROMs.

Global Information Locator Service (GILS) (EXIT EPA) is a new way to identify, locate, and describe publicly available federal information resources, including electronic information resources. GILS records identify public information resources within the federal government, describe the information available in these resources, and assist in obtaining the information. GILS is a decentralized collection of agency-based information locators using network technology and international standards to direct users to relevant information resources within the federal government.

The National Technical Information Service (EXIT EPA) is the federal government's central source for the sale of scientific, technical, engineering, and related business information produced by or for the U.S. government and complementary material from international sources.

CERCLIS Hazardous Waste Sites, by State - (Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Information System) - Superfund

TRI (Toxics Release Inventory) Data - information about toxic chemicals that are being used, manufactured, treated, transported, or released into the environment.
