Welcome and thank you for visiting the Academy of Certified Archivists (ACA) website. I think you will find that it is a very useful place for both currently certified archivists (CAs), and for those who may be considering adding the CA credential to their own professional qualifications.
It won’t take much poking around to determine the site is information rich, and I can attest that it has benefited from many previous queries that have helped us to improve it; I urge you to take a few moments to see if your issues aren’t addressed here.
However, no web site can answer every question, nor can it anticipate every circumstance that is particular to your own special situation. If you have navigated this site and your question is unanswered, or if you’d like to talk about archival certification as it pertains to you, please don’t hesitate to drop us an e-mail at aca@caphill.com. Or, you can contact the Academy’s ombudsman, Michael Bullington, whose e-dress is on the home page of this site. I am very proud of the responsiveness of the Academy, and you can rest assured we will do our very best to answer your questions as promptly as possible.
Thank you for your interest in the Academy.
