NASA/KSC has a requirement for a Programmable Alternating Current (AC) Load Bank (6 EA) per the attached Salient Characteristics, 40U Cabinet with brackets which is compatible with the above states load bank (2 EA), and the miscellaneous parts required for integration (i.e. AC receptacle, brackets, wiring, interface panels, etc.) (1 EA).
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ); quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are required to use the attached SF1449 when preparing the quotation.
The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.
Questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred) to jessica.r.paglialonga@nasa.gov no later than Wednesday, July 2, 2008. Telephone questions will not be accepted. All quotes are due via e-mail by close of business, 4:00 PM, July 10, 2008 to jessica.r.paglialonga@nasa.gov.
