Thanks for your ongoing support of the Walters Art Museum! In these challenging economic times, for museums as well as for individuals, the museum is particularly grateful to you, our members and friends, whose gifts, large and small, help us fulfill Henry Walters' vision of a museum for "the benefit of the public." We are pleased to provide free admission to our permanent collection, where you can escape from day-to-day stress and enjoy wonderful treasures and activities! Your generosity makes our mission of bringing art and people together for enjoyment, discovery and learning possible, particularly now. Thank you! To support the Walters Art Museum, click here.
FIRST FRIDAYS: The Walters is open until 8 p.m. on the first Friday of each month from October to June for our free First Fridays programming! See the Events Calendar for more information and each month's theme.
The Walters supports the "Step Up! in Support of State Employees" program. Maryland State employees will receive 2-for-1 adult admission to our special exhibition The Saint John's Bible (February 15-May 24, 2009). Offer is only good at the Museum Box Office (not through Ticketmaster) and State employees must show ID.
