Grants.gov is the federal government's online application system. It provides one central portal where organizations and individuals can electronically find and apply for more than $400 billion in federal grants. Grants.gov is the access point for more than 1,000 grant programs offered by the 26 federal agencies that make grants.
Grants.gov also provides basic information about federal grants.
The first step in applying for grants through Grants.gov is
registration.
This is a multistep process and requires at least two weeks to complete.
Registration must be completed before you can apply. Start on this now—don't wait until right before your deadline!
