Internships

The Division of Education provides national leadership in the formal study of the humanities by creating and implementing programs to strengthen teaching and learning in the humanities at all levels of American education.

Interns in the Division of Education Programs work on projects consistent with the work and mission of the Division, as well as the agency. These tasks include working on program development with the EDSITEment Project, updating materials and emailing lists for the existing Humanities Initiatives for Faculty poster, investigating the creation of an image bank for use in PowerPoint presentations b y members of the division staff, and investigating options for additional outreach for the Digital Humanities Workshops for School Teachers program.

The ideal intern will have excellent writing ability and very good computer skills.  A third or fourth year undergraduate or graduate student in the Humanities is preferred.
