X-ray bursts spectra
X-ray spectra of three bursts from X 1608-52 and one from X 1702-43, as observed by the Japanese Tenma satellite. The apparent emission feature near 5 keV is attributed to an iron emission at 6.7 keV which has been gravitationally red-shifted by the intense gravitational field near the surface of the neutron star.
