Upper Snake BLM to Launch Comprehensive Planning Process

IDAHO FALLS, ID — During the month of June, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) will launch a comprehensive review of its land use management direction for the Upper Snake Field Office.  The three-year process will culminate in a new Resource Management Plan (RMP) that will guide the BLM office in Idaho Falls into the future.

BLM will host a series of public meetings to gather comments and allow the public to ask questions and make suggestions on issues that need to be studied.  “We encourage the public to help us in identifying the need for change of existing land management direction.  This is a great opportunity to engage interested publics in shaping the desired future condition of their public lands and in how to help us balance competing multiple uses on the landscape,” said Upper Snake Field Office Manager Wendy Reynolds.

If you have questions, please contact Joanna Wilson at (208) 524-7550.
