Strategic Objective 1: Improvement of Traffic Characterization and Prediction

The following boxes are Analysis Outcomes for Objective 1. To see specific analysis projects for each Outcome, click on the corresponding box.

Green Box: A. Guidelines for data collection (hardware, software, placement, calibration, data collection frequency). Some elements require work beyond LTPP data analysis, but analysis is needed to provide some components. H1 (High priority, number 1 in sequence)

Red Box: B. Guidelines for applying traffic loading and classification data in pavement design. C2 (Critical priority, number 2 in sequence).

Red Box: C. Procedures for forecasting and back-casting traffic loading data. C3 (Critical priority, number 3 in sequence).

Green Box: D. Impact of pavement roughness on the dynamic loads applied to pavements. H3 (High priority, number 3 in sequence).

Priorities

Critical = color-coded red box for critical priority
Very High = color-coded blue box for very high priority
High = color-coded green box for high priority
Sequence = number-coded boxes 1, 2, or 3 in sequence

Note: Sequence numbers denote the order in which Analysis Outcomes should be addressed for a given Objective. Analysis Outcomes with the same sequence number can be addressed at the same time.
