This week, Internet2 and New World Symphony are hosting the annual Performance and Master Class Production Workshop. The workshop, held on campus of the New World Symphony in Miami Beach, includes live demonstrations, hands-on experience with a range of equipment, and an in-depth look at relevant production values for successfully producing events. This year's event features presenters from IUPUI, Institut de Recherche et Coordination Acoustique/Musique (IRCAM), The Philadelphia Orchestra, Texas Christian University, USC, and Yale University.

David Lois is the Executive Director of WiscNet. He was recently voted vice-chair elect for Internet2’s Architecture and Operations Advisory Committee. Dave served as a founding co-chair of StateNets and as a Quilt board member, and has been involved in the Northern Tier Network Consortium since its inception.
