hello-our son eric and i visited kodiak, and also stayed at zacher bay lodge. we had an OUSTANDING time there! weather was nice, the accommodations were out of this world! and the fishing, and bear watching was also superb. we cannot wait to visit again next year. we also stayed at gwins lodge at cooper landing, and was treated like royalty! sincerely, eric and claude leblanc.
I went to the Alaskan Sportsman Lodge which is 250 miles SW of Anchorage and is located on the Kvichak River near the village of Igiugig and Lake Iliamna.
