Part of Gay Pride Month in June

"Trembling Before G-d," which recounts the stories of Hasidic and Orthodox Jews who are gay and lesbian, can be seen today in the Materials Science Laboratory Auditorium at Technical Area 3.

The Diversity Cinema screening of this film is sponsored by the Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity (HR-OEOD) at noon today as part of the Laboratory's observance of Gay Pride Month.

Diversity Cinema provides an occasional lunchtime opportunity to learn about heroes and historical figures from all cultures and backgrounds, as well as other diversity-related topics. This diversity education and awareness effort supports the Laboratory's Strategic Goal H, Agile Work force.

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex Diversity (LGBTI) Working Group, HR-OEOD and the Diversity Affirmative Action Board are co-sponsors.

For more information, contact Danny Valdez in HR-OEOD at 5-7215.
