The Tricolor Artillery Fern (Pilea microphylla 'Variegata') is much more compact than the common form, so it makes an excellent filler plant for terrariums and windowsills. Tiny, rounded leaves that grow on its succulent stems are tinted white, pink, and green for pleasing, year-round color.
