AgrAbility
AgrAbility is a helpful resource for those people in the agricultural industry suffering from injury or disability. By suggesting cost effective options, providing information, and using local resources, AgrAbility helps people overcome an injury or disability. AgrAbility utilizes Rural Assistive Technologies to help people overcome their disabilities or injuries. Assistive technologies are a variety of devices that aid in the completion of the job at hand. Such examples are chair lifts and remote control levers.

Save Our Farm Youth (SOFY)
The goal of the Save Our Farm Youth (SOFY) Day Camp program is to reduce the incidence of agriculture-related injuries, illness and deaths by increasing the awareness of the potential dangers associated with specific farm and ranch practices. Day camps are designed to teach basic safety practices to farm and urban youth. Volunteers from local communities plan and conduct the day camps.

Hazardous Occupations Safety Training (HOSTA)
The United States Department of Labor (USDOL) regulations that relate to occupations in agriculture particularly hazardous for the employment of children younger than age 16 are found in the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 29, Part 570, Subpart E-1 (29 CFR 570 Subpart E-1).

The HOSTA-NSTMOP Task Sheet 1.2.1, Hazardous Occupations Order in Agriculture (on next page), summarizes what youth younger than age 16 and their parents and employers need to know about the regulations.
