News From the Field UC-Berkeley Study Tests Impact of Terror Warnings on Presidential Race

Contrary to earlier studies that found that the threat of terrorism favors conservative leaders, a national field study conducted by University of California, Berkeley sociologists shows that government-issued terror warnings may reduce support for Sen. John McCain among moderates or swing voters in the race for the White House.

The National Science Foundation (NSF) is an independent federal agency that
