SYNOPSIS
The Division of Science Resources Statistics (SRS) of the National Science Foundation (NSF) is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and continuous quality improvement of data collections, generally in the form of surveys on the science and engineering enterprise. SRS uses these data collections to prepare a number of statistical data reports as well as analytical reports including the National Science Board's biennial report, Science and Engineering (S&E) Indicators, and Women, Minorities and Persons with Disabilities in Science and Engineering. As part of the Division's efforts to maintain ongoing quality in its surveys and data products, SRS supports efforts by the research community to develop improved survey methodologies, create and improve indicators of S&T activities and resources, and strengthen methodologies to analyze and disseminate S&T statistical data. To that end, SRS invites proposals for survey research, workshops, and analytical studies under its program for Research on Science and Technology Surveys and Statistics. (This grants program supercedes "Grants for the Analysis of Science and Technology (S&T) Resources.")
