This series of two-hour art classes are designed for youth to better understand the work of women artists whose portraits are featured in the exhibition, Women of Our Time: Twentieth-Century Portraits. Registered participants will take a guided tour of the exhibition and then create their own pieces based on ideas from the work of the sculptor Marisol, known for her unique style in the 1960s. This program is recommended for youth ages 10 to 14, accompanied by an adult. Space is limited; please call (202) 633-8501 to register.

- A special Smithsonian sales tent with inaugural souvenirs will be set up outside the museums G Street entrance from January 16 through January 20. Hours are 11:30 to 7 p.m. For more information, please call the Museum Store at (202) 633-5450.

- The Renwick Gallery will be closed to the public January 20.

- No docent tours will be offered at either location.

- The 3 p.m. Sketching: Draw and Discover! program is canceled; instead, the Luce Foundation Center will be offering a Presidential Scavenger Hunt from noon until 6 p.m. at its information desk on the third-floor mezzanine level.

- A limited menu will be offered in the Courtyard Cafe, which will close at 5 p.m.

- Kogod Courtyard will close at 6 p.m.
