The Superior Court in Cochise County is a court of general jurisdiction. Superior Court judges hear all types of cases except small claims, minor offenses or violations of city codes and ordinances. The Superior Court acts as an appellate court to hear appeals from decisions made in limited jurisdiction (justice and magistrate) courts. The Superior Court is comprised of four divisions, one of which specializes in juvenile cases regarding delinquency, incorrigibility and dependency.

The Office of the Court Administrator provides administrative oversight and services to both the superior court and the six justice courts in Cochise County. This office also serves as the liaison between the judicial branch and the executive and legislative branches locally and on a state level. Programs and services provided by the Court Administrator's office include the Family Conciliation Court, Alternative Dispute Resolution Programs; Judicial Fines Enforcement Programs (collections); Court Security; Case Management Services; AZTEC Field Trainer Program; Personnel and Financial Management for Cochise County Judicial System; Office of Interpreting; and general court operations.
