Fluid Sampling Tool

Abstract
The present invention provides a fluid-sampling tool for obtaining a fluid sample from a container. When used in combination with a rotatable drill, the tool bores a hole into a container wall, withdraws a fluid sample from the container, and seals the borehole. The tool provides for the collection of a fluid sample without exposing the operator or the environment to the fluid or to wall shavings from the container.
