New Architecture for Coated Conductors

Abstract
This invention makes improvements on the Laboratory's coated conductor architecture based on IBAD MgO, which comprises four or five separately-deposited layers between a metal substrate and the superconducting coating.

Commercialization Strategy: Available for both exclusive and nonexclusive licensing in accordance with the Los Alamos superconductivity licensing policy.
