Gas Sensors Comprising Supported Ionic Liquids

Abstract
A gas sensor capable of both determining the composition and quantity of a wide range of gases or liquids.  Detection at parts per million sensitivity is possible.  The sensor is durable, rugged, compact, insensitive to humidity, and easy and inexpensive to manufacture.  The device is operable and has been demonstrated to detect multiple chemicals.
