Escondido, California: Alumni are invited to the first "Escondido Area Alumni Chapter Kick Off Event on Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at 7PM in the social hall at Escondido URC located at 1864 North Broadway in Escondido. An Escondido Chapter of Dordt College Alumni was formed this fall and this is their first organized get together for all alumni in the area. We'll be sending off to Sioux Center for the spring semester the current students at Dordt College from this area in grand fashion.  Please RSVP to Sandy Roth at 760-743-5436. Washington, D.C.: You are cordially invited to join President Carl Zylstra for dinner on Friday, January 30, 2008 at 7:00 PM at the Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery located at 4238 Wilson Boulevard in Arlington, VA. The Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery is located inside the Ballston Common Mall in Arlington just past Starbucks on the ground level. This is at the Ballston Metro stop (Orange Line) for those who would be riding the subway. The Mall large parking garage ($1.00 for evening after 6 PM) can be reached at Wilson Blvd & Randolf (on Randolf) or at Wilson Blvd & Glebe Rd (on Glebe Rd.)
