In the past, Raynaud's phenomenon of chemical origin was seen in workers with exposures to high concentrations of vinyl chloride monomer. A scleroderma-like syndrome has also been reported in workers exposed to vinyl chloride monomer. [Rosenstock, p. 537] Raynaud's phenomenon was described in people drinking well water high in arsenic; [Rosenstock, p. 947] and also in smelter workers. [Lagerkvist BE, et al.
