Public Use Opportunities

On National Wildlife Refuges, wildlife comes first. BUT, there are many wildlife-dependent recreational opportunities that are compatible with the purpose for which Lower Suwannee Refuge was established. Wildlife observation and photography, interpretation (guided hikes and programs), environmental education, hunting, and fishing are all priority visitor uses on the refuge.
