Education

Montana Water's Education pages currently focus on two areas:

  • training opportunities for water operators and professionals, and
  • water education for the general public and the K-12 education system.

Training Opportunities for Water Professionals

Training of water system operators and professionals is vital to the maintenance of Montana's expanding rural and municipal water systems. In order to keep our water safe and drinkable, water professionals must keep up with the latest advances in technology, testing procedures, and regulations. This Montana Water Center Training site provides resources to those professionals.

Water Education

Educating ourselves and our children about water issues such as conservation, watershed management, wetlands, and the water environment is critical to understanding the role we must play in keeping our water clean and safe. Resources are provided for the general public, K-12 children and teachers, and post-secondary students.
