Welcome to the New Formulas page at NSF! The Research on Gender in Science and Engineering Program (GSE) introduces the New Formulas Series of free publications, including:

New Formulas for America’s Workforce: Girls in Science and Engineering (NSF 03-207). The original compilation of NSF grant awards made from 1993 through mid-2002 by the GSE program.

New Formulas for America’s Workforce 2: Girls in Science and Engineering (NSF 06-60). NSF’s investment in projects to improve the representation of girls and women in the sciences, mathematics, engineering and technology, from mid-2002 through 2005.

New Tools for America’s Workforce: Girls in Science and Engineering (NSF 06-59). New Tools catalogs a wide variety of products from NSF-funded projects to help teachers, employers, policymakers, and parents foster gender diversity in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

New Formulas for America’s Workforce Poster (NSF-06-12), a colorful 24" by 36" poster promoting this series of products, is also available for order. Single copies and multiple copies are available now.
