SolFest XIV (2009), August 8th-9th, will host a diverse assortment of exhibits, vendors and earth friendly products (many shaded under our 132 kilowatt solar array) and offer attendees access to information and experts' knowledge. Local non-profits share the spotlight and bring important campaigns to the public's awareness. The exhibitor area is a "one stop" shopping location for anything related to renewables, conscious living and products to support a sustainable lifestyle. Six educational tents provide ongoing workshops on: renewable energy, food, farming & permaculture, post-petroleum preparation, and green & natural building. A host of electric, hydrogen and other alternatively powered vehicles participate in the ever-popular parking lot display. Alternative vehicle workshops are also part of the event.
