Tours for Individuals and Families
*We are sorry but the guided tours are cancelled for the season and will start up again in March, 2009. You can still go on a self-guided tour.

Guided tours for individuals and families are offered Friday through Sunday at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Led by our interns, these fun and informative tours last approximately 50 minutes. Groups with more than 12 adults or six children should arrange for a custom tour rather than attending one of these daily tours. Cost is $3 per adult and $2 per child with a $25 minimum.

School Tours
A visit to the Solar Living Center gives students the unique experience of engaging with exhibits that examine a range of ideas about renewable energy and sustainable living. Tours are available by arrangement for students in grades K-12. These tours are approximately 50 minutes in duration. School groups are required to provide one adult chaperone for every five children through grade 6 and one adult for every 10 students thereafter. Cost is $2 per student and $3 per chaperone with a $25 minimum.

Professional Tours
Specialty tours, led by senior staff or technical instructors, are available for professional associations and college level classes. These tours, which last approximately one and a half hours, provide a stimulating technical exploration of renewable energy and sustainable living. Professional tours are available Monday through Friday by appointment. Cost is $10 per person per hour with a $125 per hour minimum.

Custom Tours
Custom tours are available for groups with particular interests. To arrange for a custom tour, please call to discuss your options. The cost of custom tours is typically $3 per person per hour with a $30 minimum.
