Partnering for the future

Today marks the start of a new era in the illustrious history of Los Alamos National Laboratory, and I am extremely honored and proud to be a part of the new management team that will lead the Laboratory into its next phase.


Los Alamos Employees' Scholarship Fund drive extended to June 16
The Los Alamos Employees' Scholarship Fund drive, which encourages Laboratory employees, retirees and subcontract personnel to donate to a fund that awards college scholarships to Northern New Mexico area students, has been extended to June 16.
Turning the key
Keith Orr, of Deployed Services (PM-DS), project director for the National Security Sciences Building at Technical Area 3 turns the key on the push bar on the front door of the new building on Wednesday.
Badge Office schedules late opening today
To ensure that all transition activities related to personnel security have been properly converted, the Badge Office will open for normal business at 10 this morning.
2006 Laboratory Fellow nominations sought
The deadline to submit nominations for 2006 Laboratory Fellows is June 7.
Employees can sign up for new 401(k) plan
Laboratory employees can now sign up for a new 401 (k) savings and investment plan administered by Fidelity Investments.
Celebration marks 60 years of operations at TA-18
Former and current employees of the Laboratory's Pajarito Site (Technical Area 18) gathered recently to mark 60 years of TA-18's service to the nation and thank employees who worked at the site.
