More than 16,000 people attend free fishing clinics hosted by the Arizona Game and Fish Department each year. The Department also loans the public 100 rods and reels and a limited supply of bait. These are just a few of the steps the agency is taking to introduce youth to sport angling and aquatic habitat conservation. These are some of the Aquatic Resource Education activities promoted by the New Mexico Fish and Game Department. Resource materials, equipment and teacher training workshops are also provided to introduce children to angling and to increase their awareness of aquatic ecosystems.
