    China Project headed by National Institutes of Health.  Analysis of Chinese serum samples for aflatoxin B1-lysine adduct, to determine whether exposure to dietary aflatoxin is related to risk of developing lung cancer. DLS / ITNB  
    India In collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research.  Indian clinician and clinician-instructor training on medical management of hazardous materials incidents.   DHS  
    India Project headed by National Institutes of Health and Indian Industrial Toxicology Research Centre.  Development of assays to monitor gene expression profiles of enzymes in tissue and peripheral lymphocytes for use in understanding in vivo detoxification of environmental chemicals. DHS  
    India Project headed by Yale University and Indian Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Research.  Development of a murine model of arsenic-related liver disease to be used in an examination of unexplained liver disease and relationship to arsenic exposure in human populations.  DHS  
    India Project headed by Indian National Institute for Occupational Health and University of Cincinnati.  Development of devices designed to minimize occupational exposure to silica in small scale quartz grinding operations in India. DHS  
    India Projected headed by Indian National Institute for Occupational Health.  Pilot surveillance of chemical releases and related public health impact for planning preventive and training activities. DHS  
    India  Project headed by University of Rochester and Indian National Institute of Miner’s Health.  Evaluation of asbestos-related morbidity and mortality in Indian tremolite miners. DHS

    Multiple (Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, United States) Project in conjunction with Roswell Park Cancer Institute, VicHealth Centre for Tobacco Control, University of Waterloo, and University College London.  Evaluation of tobacco-specific nitrosamine levels in cigarette smoke and study participants in the four study countries.  DLS / ERATB  
    Multiple (Australia, Canada, Malaysia, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States) Project headed by Roswell Park Cancer Institute.  Analysis of cigarettes from study countries to determine physical characteristics and smoke chemistry to monitor changes related to the WHO Framework Convention on Tobacco Control.     Multiple (Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Cameroon, Republic of Georgia, Iraq, Kenya, Mongolia, Niger, Nigeria, West Bank/Gaza) Collaborations with Federal Occupational Health and USAID.  Training and procurement, assembly and distribution of personal protective equipment for pandemic avian flu.
