Welcome! Whether you are a prospective student or currently enrolled at Grand Valley, the catalog is a powerful tool that is essential to your college experience. The catalog is a comprehensive listing of the current information regarding undergraduate and graduate academic rules and regulations, course offerings, and degree requirements. Grand Valley students are responsible to know and understand the requirements for the degree they are pursuing and should be knowledgeable about university policies and procedures contained in this catalog. Although this catalog was prepared on the basis of the best information available at the time, the information is updated regularly. All policies, procedures, fees, and charges are subject to change by the appropriate action of the faculty, the university administration, and the Board of Trustees. Online Catalog The online version is the most current and accurate representation of Grand Valley’s catalog. It is updated frequently to give you the most current catalog information. Store Important Catalog Information The online catalog features a function called My Portfolio. With this function you can store online catalog information for faster reference later. There are links throughout the catalog Web pages that allow you to add information to your personal portfolio. To reference your portfolio, click the My Portfolio link in the menu bar on the left side of any page. If you would like to print sections of the online catalog, a Print this page option is found at the bottom of every online catalog page. Notice: please speak with an advisor to ensure that you are storing information relevant to your catalog year. Printed Catalog The current printable version of the catalog as well as previous printed catalogs can be found in PDF form by clicking here. It is updated and produced annually. Because it is only printed one time per year, it is not as current as the online catalog. For this reason, we reccomend that you refer to the online catalog whenever possible. If you need to view a catalog from a previous academic year, PDF versions are available as far back as 1998. Versions of the online catalog are available starting in 2005, and can be viewed by selecting the desired catalog in the scroll-down menu at the top right of any online catalog page. |
