Welcome to Plants, Soils, and Climate    (the growth sciences) 

The Plants, Soils, and Climate department offers undergraduate Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees, graduate Master of Science (MS), Master of Professional Studies in Horticulture (MPSH),  and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Associate of Applied Science in Horticulture (AAS),  and a One-year Certification in Ornamental Horticulture. 

 Off- campus degree plans are available and you may investigate your options through this website or by contacting the PSC department for information on advising

Check into the many undergraduate and graduate research opportunities offering both field and laboratory experience. 

The A Team at Utah State university is always looking for mentor and facilitators of campus orientation programs, including SOAR and University Connections.  As you explore the Plants, Soils and Climate program, always consider the great extracurricular opportunities offered at Utah State University.   Contact Lisa Hancock, Program Administrator, New Student Orientation 797-1125 for more information.

Scholarship applications are available online at www.ag.usu.edu.  Applications are due February 1.
Scholarship applications will be forwarded to PSC for consideration of departmental scholarships.
