This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ)]
for a Particle into Liquid Sampler. Qty 2 PILS Droplet Growth & Collection Chamber with Steam Generator & Temperature Control Devices. The items shall meet the following specifications:
Particle-into-Liquid-Sampler (PILS) is used for rapid observations of PM1 and PM2.5 water-soluble aerosol chemical composition.
1. Liquid sample fraction auto-collector with eighty 2.0 ml volume glass vials, rack-mountable (up to 1 hour sample)
2. Remotely-controllable sampling cycle via external host computer
3. 80-vial carousel for Auto-Collector with 2.0 ml amber glass vials and caps with teflon/rubber septa
4. Package of 1000 2.0 ml volume amber glass sample vials and caps with teflon/rubber septa
5. Fully automated operation
6. Additional control software to operate Auto-Collector independently
7. One year parts and labor warranty
The provisions and clauses in the are those in effect through FAC 05-25. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1.
The NAICS Code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 334516 respectively. The offeror shall state in their offer their size status for this procurement.

Selection and award will be made to that offeror whose offer will be most advantageous to the Government, with consideration given to the factors of proposed technical merit, price, and past performance.
