THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR LEASE PURCHASE OF ELECTRON BEAM WELDER. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued.
The purpose of this amendment is to Answer questions that were asked before the due date.
. Question: I reviewed the terms and conditions regarding the solicitation, but I could not find any information regarding the payment schedule of the lease. I understand that the deal will be structured as 5 yearly payments. When will the first payment be made? Is this a term/condition we specify, or does the government have a pre-determined structure?
Answer: The first years lease payment will be made 30 days after reciept of a valid invoice from the vendor once the award is made.
2. Is this for small business or large business? The information states “no” not for small business and “yes” in another area that it is small business. Please provide clarity.
Answer: This procurement is not set-aside for small business. The RDQ is in error.
The due date for receipt of offers is not extended.
