* Zoo closes at 3:00 p.m. on July 10, 2009 for Jungle Party
** The North Entrance (N. 59th and Evanston) is closed from October 1 to April 30.

Disability access and rentals
There is a $2.00 discount from regular admission prices for persons with disabilities and

The Historic Carousel is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., May 1 - September 30; 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., October 1 - April 30.

Zoomazium is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Oct. 1 - Apr. 30) and 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (May 1 - Sept. 30).

City Pass Logo Visit five of Seattle's best attractions at a special discount, including Woodland Park Zoo, using CityPass.

Group Discount:
Groups of 20 or more paying individuals are entitled to a 10% discount providing one person pays for the entire group and the group enters together through one entry at one time. It is not necessary to make prior arrangements with the zoo unless the group wishes to also reserve a picnic area.

Parking:
$4.50 for Cars, $10.00 RVs and Buses*. We encourage carpooling, transit and other alternative methods when you visit the zoo.

The zoo's South Entrance is located at N. 50th and Fremont Ave. N. (750 N. 50th St.)
The zoo's West Entrance is located at 5500 Phinney Ave.
The zoo's North Entrance is located at N. 59th and Evanston Ave. (601. N. 59th St.)

* Parking fees change to $5.00 for cars and $15 for RVs and buses February 1, 2009

Eating Opportunities

Rain Forest Food Pavilion
Inside the zoo's West Entrance across from Jaguar Cove, the Pavilion offers indoor and outdoor seating, restrooms and an ATM. Restaurants include:

Naturally Untamed Grill Burgers, veggie burgers, fries
Cucina Rosso Pizza, pasta & salad
Bamboo Hut Asian specialties
Rain Forest Deli Hand-crafted sandwiches, chowder
Dreyers Ice Cream Hand-scooped ice cream cones

Boardwalk Sausage Company - across from the Raptor Center with BBQ, hotdogs, Trail Side Treats, Savanna Snacks & Bear Necessities - Snack shacks are located along main zoo path.

Outside food is allowed, however no alcoholic beverages or cooking/BBQ, please.

Woodland Park Zoo's food services are committed to serving only grass-fed beef and using corn-based plastic cups, plates, utensils and salad containers and sugar cane paper for our paper products in all our Woodland Park Zoo locations. All food waste is composted as part of the City of Seattle’s Commercial Food Waste Recycling Program.

ZooStore at Woodland Park Zoo
The ZooStore can please every animal-lover in your troop with plush animal toys, educational games, logo apparel, animal-themed jewelry, books and an astounding array of unique, hand-crafted items created by craftspeople in countries from Brazil to Nepal. And every purchase goes back to supporting the zoo's many conservation and education programs and animal care right here at the zoo. The ZooStore is open daily 9:30 a.m. to zoo closing. Pet Policy/Restricted items/Lost & Found
Pets are NOT allowed on zoo grounds, except for service animals.

NO SMOKING is allowed on zoo grounds.

For the safety of our animals and visitors, please do not bring roller skates, inline skates, Razor-type scooters, balloons, bicycles or Frisbees on zoo grounds. Outside food is allowed.
