NASA/HQ plans to issue a solicitation for the following Commercial item/services: operation of the Columbia Café Dining Facility at NASA Headquarters. The contractor shall provide services for obtaining, preparing and dispensing food and beverages and authorized by NASA HQ.
This solicitation will result in a zero dollar concession agreement between the contractor and NASA.
This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1.
The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 722211 and $6.5, respectively.
The anticipated release date of the solicitation is approximately mid-January 2008 with an anticipated proposal due date of approximately mid-February 2008.
All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency.
An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B".
The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer.
