What is AgraNet?

www.agra-net.com is the online home of Agra Informa Group, the leading information specialist on agriculture and food policy, markets and trade. Our services include print & electronic newsletters, conferences & seminars, studies, yearbooks, directories and we have specialist consultancy, market research, and commodity risk management divisions. How do I log in?

Enter your UserName and Password in the boxes in the top right hand corner of the screen. Please use lowercase for both fields and click on the Go! button when you have finished. If you would like the system to log you on automatically each time you visit the site, please tick the Remember Me box (found below the UserName and Password boxes) before clicking on Go!

When you are logged in, your UserName will be displayed in the top right hand corner, with showing underneath (you can click on this to see a full list of your online subscriptions).

How can I read the Current Issue?

Select the publication to which you have a current subscription, either from the list on the blue panel on the left of the screen, or from the list which appears when you click on .

This will take you to the homepage of the publication. From here you can access all of the online services for that publication by clicking on the relevant red button. Click on the button. This will display the most recent issue.

How do I access the Daily News?

If the publication you subscribe to includes Daily News, you will see these articles displayed on the right of the publication’s homepage.  The latest news articles will be at the top of the list; click on any of the headlines to read the full text.  If you wish to see articles from the last few days, go to the bottom of the Daily News list and click on a page number under More Stories (please note that Daily News articles will only be available for a few days and are not archived).

If you want to access the from the or pages you can click on the Daily News button as illustrated below and then follow the above instructions.

How do I search the Archive of a single publication?

From the publication homepage, click on the button.

There are three ways to search the archive:

1. Keyword Search
2. Date Search
3. Issue Search

1. Keyword search

Enter your search criteria in the Search Text box to retrieve all matching articles from the publication’s archive. The results will be shown in date order, with the most recent article at the top.

Click on the article of interest or click on the Next Page button at the bottom of the list to see the next page of results.

Your search will retrieve only articles that have been published in that single publication. It will not retrieve articles from other Agra Informa publications.

If you subscribe to more than one Agra Informa publication and wish to search all of them at the same time, click on the Search AgraNet Archive button at the top of the page. This will take you to the AgraNet archive where you can search all publications simultaneously.

2. Date Search

If there isn’t an issue to match your chosen date, the two issues nearest to your date will be displayed.

3. Issue Search

You can read a single issue from the last 6 months by clicking on one of the dates listed below the popup menu, as shown above.

How do I search the AgraNet archive?

The AgraNet archive allows you to search our entire archive with a single search. To access the facility, click on the Search AgraNet Archive button on the right of the page.

Enter your search terms in the box as shown below and it will retrieve all articles that match your search criteria from our online archive of over 300,000 articles.

When the results are displayed you can read an article in full by clicking on it, or select the next page of results by clicking on the Next Page button.

Your search will display the headlines and date of every article matching your search criteria, as well as the publication it is from.  Click on the headline to display the full text. Please note, only the full text of articles from publications to which you currently subscribe will be displayed. If your search retrieves headlines from Agra Informa publications not currently on your subscription list, click here for more information on how to subscribe.

How do I get a UserName and Password?

If you are a subscriber to an Agra Informa publication and would like to access AgraNet you will need a UserName and Password, which are normally included as part of your subscription. Additional Passwords or Site Licences can be purchased to enable colleagues, or your whole company, to access your subscriptions.  Please contact our Help Desk if you wish to arrange for immediate access for you and your colleagues.

My UserName and Password are not recognised

If you have a UserName and Password for your subscription but are unable to log in, please check the following:

• Your UserName and Password are case sensitive.  They should both be entered in lower case.
• Please ensure that you are putting your UserName (made up of letters and numbers) and your Password (letters only) in the UserName and Password boxes respectively.
• Once you have entered your UserName and Password, you must click on Go! or press Enter on your keyboard to log in before you click on a publication title.

• You can only access the Agra Informa publications you subscribe to. If you try to read a publication that you do not subscribe to, you will see an error message. To see a list of the publications you currently have online access to, click on below your UserName in the top right hand corner of the page.  Only the publications which have been activated on your UserName and Password will be shown.  To enable your UserName and Password to give you access to all of your Agra Informa subscriptions which include online services, contact the Help Desk

• Please make sure that your subscription is still current.  If your subscription has expired, your UserName and Password will not be valid. To check the status of your subscription, please contact the Subscriptions Department. If you are still unable to log in, please contact the Help Desk

Which Agra Informa publications have an online service?

Can my colleagues access my subscriptions online?

The UserName and Password are for the sole use of the subscriber and should not be shared with colleagues.  If your colleagues, or company, would benefit from having online access to the publications you subscribe to, you can purchase additional Passwords or Site Licences. If you require information about specific publications, you can find a description of their content on AgraNet:

• Click on Publications at the top of the page to see a full list of titles.

• Click on the specific publication title you are interested in. This will take you to the publication’s homepage.
• From here you can see a description of the content and online services, order a sample copy or subscribe.

When your subscription is due for renewal, you will be sent a renewal notice. You will find all the information you need to make your renewal on the reverse of the statement.
