Arcata Associates, Inc. intends to make an award, on a sole source basis to Colo Properties / Telx, of Atlanta, Georgia to renew Carrier Independent Exchange Facility (CIEF) Services, supporting the Arcata Associates/ UNITeS WAN Replacement Project. This support shall be provided in accordance with the services as defined in the Request for Proposal (RFP) document number 089ARC53337, for One (1) site located Atlanta, Georgia. This procurement will consist of: One (1) Base Year (12 Months), and four (4) Options (12 Months). The performance period for the base year will be: 10/01/08 – 09/30/09.
This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP).
Arcata Associates, Inc. intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
Interested firms have until 24 September 2008 4:00 PM CDT to submit their proposal to the attached Request for Proposal, and all associated paperwork per the special instructions. Responses received after 24 September 2008 4:00 PM CDT without the required information will be considered non responsive to the synopsis/solicitation and will not be considered. A determination by Arcata Associates, Inc. to not compete this proposed effort on a full and open cost competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of Arcata Associates, Inc.
This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested per the attached Request for Proposal (RFP) and are located in the attached Word file and includes complete description, circuit locations, together with Representation and Certifications, and Arcata Associates, Inc. Terms and Conditions and all attachments must be completed in order for consideration. Each section of the SOW must be addressed.
