This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Joint Dark Energy Mission (JDEM) Telescope Assembly Concept Study which was posted on December 15, 2008. You are notified that the following changes are made:
The release of the JDEM Telescope Study RFP has been delayed in order to allow for the completion of the Science Coordination Group (SCG) work on the JDEM requirements, originally planned to be completed in mid December, and the completion of the Project assessment of the reference mission. Completion of the requirements effort and assessment of the reference mission are critical steps necessary to begin studying telescope options. In addition, the JDEM Program is exploring options for possible collaboration with the European Space Agency. Further information on release of the telescope study RFP is anticipated in late January.
Documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
