NASA/GSFC has a requirement for OrCad and PSpice software maintenance. The following software maintenance is needed by July 1, 2008 through July 1, 2009.
-OrCAD EE Designer Maintenance (QTY: 9 seats)
-PSpice(R) A/D maintenance (QTY: 4 seats)
-OrCAD Capture(R) CIS Maintenance (QTY: 2 seats)
-PSpice(R) Maintenance (QTY: 2 seats)
-OrCAD(R) PCB Designer with PSpice Maintenance (QTY: 2 seats)
-OrCAD Capture(R) Maintenance (QTY: 6 seats)
NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from EMA Design Automation because the vendor is the only source that can provide the software maintenance.
The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
DO Rating is DO-C9. The synopsis shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited.
Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:00 p.m. eastern local time on June 27, 2008. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
