This is amendment #001 to the synopsis entitled RESEARCH ANALYSIS AND SOFTWARE TOOLS FOR OPERATIONS RESEARCH OF SPACE FLIGHT PROJECTS, which was posted on May 22, 2008.
You are notified that the purpose of this modification is to: 1) Answer Offeror's questions; 2) Attach the following: Draft Cover Letter, Statement Of Work (SOW), Representative Task Orders (RTO), and RTO Sample Data(Excel spreadsheet); and 3) To solicit comments on the SOW & RTO's.
This amendment is to ensure fairness in competition and to make sure there is no ambiguities in our requirements.
Questions and Answers are as follows:
Q1) Is this opportunity being considered for designation as a Small-Business Set-Aside?
A1) As per the original statement in the source sought, "The Government reserves the right to consider a small business or 8(a) set-aside based on responses hereto."
Q2) Is there currently a contractor fulfilling these requirements or similar services?
A2) There are currently two contractors fulfilling these requirements, Cost Inc. and Versatile Systems Inc., but NASA is looking to consolidate these requirements.
The due date for responses is extended to June 13, 2008.
