This is a modification to the synopsis entitled Landsat Data Continuity Mission (LDCM) Mission Operations Element (MOE), which was posted on November 15, 2007. You are notified that the following changes are made: Industry Day for the LDCM MOE scheduled on December 11, 2007, is postponed. The MOE Industry Day will be held on January 4, 2008, at the Marriott-Greenbelt, 6400 Ivy Lane, in Greenbelt, MD (see the LDCM web site for details, http://ldcm.gsfc.nasa.gov/ ). Due to the fact that International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)-sensitive information will be presented at this meeting, attendance is limited to U.S. Persons. Time will be set aside for NASA/GSFC discussions with the prime contractors and their subcontractors. Attendance is limited to no more than five individuals per offeror (including teammates). There will not be separate discussions with subcontractors. Appointments for discussions will be up to 45 minutes in duration and must be scheduled in advance with the LDCM MOE Contracting Officer (see point of contact below). Offerors may call, but email requests for appointments to the LDCM Contracting Officer are encouraged. Please make your requests by close of business December 21, 2007.
It is anticipated that the Draft Request for Proposals (DRFP) for the MOE will be posted on or about December 14, 2007. Comments on the draft will be accepted up to midnight on January 8, 2008. NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), in coordination with the US Geological Survey (USGS), anticipates the issuance of a solicitation for a competitive small business set-aside for the procurement.
