The Klamath Falls Interagency Fire Center (KFIFC) was established in 1982 to provide initial attack dispatching and logistical support for emergency management on lands administered by the Bureau of Land Management, Winema National Forest, Crater Lake National Park, US Fish and Wildlife, and Klamath-Lake District of the Oregon Department of Forestry.
Operating as an all risk dispatch facility, KFIFC is the primary focus for reporting, tracking, and processing orders of aircraft, equipment, overhead, crews, and supplies assigned to incidents in or out of the Klamath Basin. Operating Plans

Mission Statement The Klamath Falls Interagency Fire Center has two major components to its mission. It is established to provide a safe, effective and efficient environment at the Klamath Fall Air Tanker Base for the support of aerial firefighting resources. The Klamath Falls Interagency Fire Dispatch Center is established to provide initial attack dispatching and logistical support for all hazard emergency management on federal and state protected lands in the Klamath Basin, and mobilizing resources for incidents. The Fire Center provides services for incidents throughout South Central Oregon, the Pacific Northwest, and the Nation.
