Description
 
NASA Stennis Space Center, MS, is requesting information to identify possible sources to provide a 96-Inch High Pressure Industrial Water Rubber-Seated Butterfly Valve. The rubber seated butterfly valve with flanged end body patterns will be used in the High Pressure Industrial Water System at Stennis Space Center, MS. The valve will be required to meet the requirements of AWWA C504 (latest revision), Rubber Seated Butterfly Valves, and applicable performance specifications.

This Request for Information (RFI) is issued for informational purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation or commit the government to award a contract now or in the future. Submitting information for this RFI is voluntary and participants will not be compensated. No solicitation exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the solicitation. If a solicitation is released it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service. It is the potential offeror’s responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis.

Respondents to this RFI should describe their ability to meet and/or exceed the requirement. Respondents should address the following:

1. Your company’s capability of providing a 96-Inch High Pressure Industrial Water Rubber-Seated Butterfly Valve. 2. Company’s past experience in building similar valves. How many and when. 3. Estimated timeframe for delivery after contract award?

Responses should include the name and address of firm, size of business, whether they are large, small, small disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBZone, and/or woman-owned.

This synopsis is for information and planning purposes and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. Respondents deemed fully qualified will be considered in any resultant solicitation for the requirement.

Electronic (e-mail) or paper copies should be submitted to the Stennis Space Center Office of Procurement. All copies must be clearly labeled “Proprietary/Competition Sensitive” if applicable on the cover sheets and on each applicable page. Proprietary/Competition Sensitive information will be protected from disclosure.
