NASA/GSFC has a requirement for six XMC/PMC modules; each must have 2 channel 160 Msps 16bit ADC, a Virtex 5 FPGA - SX95T connected directly to the ADC, 16MB ZBT Ram; PCI-X (64-bit, 133MHz), and an XMC connector with 8-lanes of PCI Express; 8 pins of front panel user I/O directly connected to FPGA; 8 pins of XMC connector user I/O directly connected to FPGA. A Development Kit including peripheral component wrappers for XMC/PMC -E2201 FPGA. Includes 8 hours of Signature Support. Annual Maintenance DSW-E2201-100-CD, Embedded Microsoft Windows XP Driver for the XMC/PMC-E2201 - Development License and Annual Maintenance DSW-E2201-004-CD. The algorithms that will be run in this task require the highest performance FPGA to perform the necessary processing functions in real time.
NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from CURTISS WRIGHT. Pursuant to FAR 13.106 for the acquisition of supplies or services determined to be reasonably available from one source.
The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.
Interested organizations may submit their capabilities statement to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on January 12, 2009. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
