Description
 
NASA, Kennedy Space Center (KSC), Florida has a requirement for the following: Annual Premium On-site Full Support Service/Maintenance Contract on NASA, KSC’s existing Ardara Low Gas Chromatograph (GC)/Mass Spectrometer System located at NASA, KSC; Quantity: 1 lot; Period of Performance: April 28, 2009 through April 27, 2010.

The existing Ardara Low GC/Mass Spectrometer System was purchased by NASA, KSC from Ardara Technologies L.P. in November of 2004. This system was engineered and customized by Ardara Technologies L.P. to meet NASA, KSC’s performance requirements. NASA, KSC intends to purchase the required Annual Premium On-site Full Support Service/Maintenance from Ardara Technologies L.P., 9937 McClellan Street, Irwin, PA as they are the only known source that can provide these services.

The Government intends to acquire commercial services using FAR Part 12.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time on January 27, 2009. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.

Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.

All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.

An Ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B".
